"I Wish I Could Go Back And Re-Do My Wedding Portraits"

You wouldn’t believe how many couple’s that I have heard this from. Rest assured— it’s not OUR past couples!! We hear it from a lot of people who we know now, but didn’t when they got married, and

There are many reasons why you may not love the photos from your wedding: the weather didn’t cooperate, the lighting was bad, you ran out of time, the décor didn’t look right, or the thing we absolutely dread to hear--that you weren’t happy with your photographer. Lucky for us at Apollo Fields, (crossed fingers) this has never happened, and we take great pride in that. We are so grateful for each and every one of our unique and wonderful couples. But the unfortunate truth is that this does happen in the industry, so don’t worry if this has happened to you, because there is something you can do!

If you want to remember your wedding the way you want to remember it, grab your S.O. by the hand, throw on your wedding clothes, and book an intimate stylized session with us! Your mind will rest easier and future-you will thank you once you re-create this memory of your young love. This particular photo session included Heather’s sister, Mary, and her husband, J, because Mary wanted Heather to take some photos at her wedding in December 2018, but we were forced to miss it because of a medical emergency (go figure, the ONE wedding we have ever had to miss was for family).

This shoot was so special to us because it gave us a chance to make up for our absence and also have our own unique celebration with Mary and J. We can’t go back in time and change the circumstances, but we can use the present and future to make the best of what we have. Plus, it is a great opportunity for couples to jump back in their wedding clothes and revisit the reason you got married in the first place. Seeing you partner dressed up in the same attire inevitably brings back some of those memories, and can be a super special occasion for you to reconnect over your original vows, or even re-write new ones to one another.

There’s nothing wrong with renewing your commitment to one another or getting the wedding photos of your dreams, whether it was perfect the first time and you want to experience that feeling again, or maybe it was less than perfect the first time and you want to have that deserved moment / photo. No matter the reason, we stand behind it and think it is 100% worthy!

Cheers,
Heather & Terrence
